Air Liquide announces Executive Committee reshuffle

Industrial gas major Air Liquide has announced a raft of changes to its Executive Committee, reflecting the company's focus on pursuing its performance and growth trajectory.

Scheduled to commence on September 1st 2023, the reshuffle signifies an important milestone for the company's leadership team.

This strategic move aims to position Air Liquide for continued growth and success in the evolving global industrial gases market.

To be enacted under the leadership of François Jackow, CEO of Air Liquide, the Executive Committee reshuffle will see François Abrial appointed as General Secretary for the Group. He will supervise the Group Control and Compliance Department, the Group Legal Department, Public and International Affairs, in addition to Digital & IT.

Ronnie Chalmers has been appointed CEO of the Asia Pacific Hub, while Marcelo Fioranelli remains CEO of Airgas and Matthieu Giard takes the position of CEO of the Americas Hub.

Executive Vice-President is Mike Graff, who will continue to supervise the Engineering & Construction activity, as well as chair the Board of Directors of Group holdings in the Americas.

Armelle Levieux is appointed Vice-President of Innovation and will supervise the Hydrogen Energy and Electronics World Business Lines.

Emilie Mouren-Renouard will take the position of CEO of the Europe Industries Hub while Jérôme Pelletan remains CFO for the Group, as well as supervising the Shareholder Services Department.

CEO of Europe Healthcare Diana Schillag will continue to supervise the Healthcare World Business Line in addition to the Sustainable Development and the Group's Procurement functions.

The Large Industries World Business Line and the Group's Strategy function will continue to be supervised by François Venet.

Having been appointed executive Vice-President, Pascal Vinet will continue to supervise the Europe Industries Hub and the Africa/Middle East/India Hub, the Group Safety and Industrial System function and will take on a supervisory role of the Industrial Merchant World Business Line.

The Human Resources Management will be announced at a later date, according to Air Liquide.

Commenting on the announcement, Jackow said, "This new organisation of the Executive Committee will enable us to pursue our performance and growth trajectory."
