At the same time, Turkey (X%) and South Korea (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2024. By contrast, Japan (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of China (X p.p.) and Turkey (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2024, the share of Japan (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2024, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, uncoated filter paper imports reached $X in 2024. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2022 to 2024, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In 2024, China (X tons), distantly followed by India (X tons), Indonesia (X tons), the Philippines (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) were the main importers of uncoated filter paper and paperboard, together mixing up X% of total imports. The following importers - Turkey (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Pakistan (X tons), Iran (X tons) and South Korea (X tons) - together made up X% of total imports.
